Make sure you copy the "custom" directory you downloaded to your DAOC UI directory BEFORE running the options chooser. The OptionsChooser crashes when I select something, why? If someone has better quality NF maps that are actually up to date let me know and I'll include them (looking at you Broadsword) To make the 512x512 maps work I had to resize the 256x256 ones. Thats not a question, but I know! I don't have good sources for the NF maps. Find the pperdoll.bmp images under the "OldStyle" directory within. Each possible style for BobsUI has an entry here and within each style there may be sub-entries (for color variants of that style). There are 87 of them! They are all located somewhere under "custom\Options\Dialog Skin\Style". Just search for it in the source tree and replace you local copy with whatever you needed. Since this is github you can navigate and download any file you need. I don't want to re-download all of this, how can I make my UI work? I manually updated all 80+ of these image files to work (Thanks to my great MS paint skillz) and decided distributing them individually via some zip / patch was too much. With the latest update Broadsword introduced a new currency in game and basically broke 80+ styles in BobsUI. My goal here was to just have something that worked in a centralized place that everyone could easily find and access.
DAOC UI BROWSER WINDOW INSTALL
You had to hunt down and install several patches to get it working. This has been going on for a long time and from a fresh install of DAOC BobsUI was actually kinda a pain to to get setup and working properly. This typically means someone fixes it and posts a zip on PostCount or in Discord and everyone just copies those files over. BobsUI hasn't been updated in ages and every time Broadsword makes a change people in the community have been responsible for patching their UIs. The last official release of BobsUI was for patch version 1.117 (We are now on 1.123). It's BobsUI + several years? of fixes and patches needed to keep it working.
